Ordinary Infatuation
I compiled this mix last week. The songs flow pretty well together and it is a darker mix than what I usually put together. There's a nice mix of alternative, electronica, ambiance and a little bit of hip-hop towards the end. You should all definitely download this, especially if you're looking for some new music. I highly recommend downloading at least the Sneaker Pimps, Aesop Rock, M83 and The Knife.

Orpheus & Eurydice

Smashing Pumpkins - The Beginning is the End is the Beginning
After Every Party I Die - IAMX
Elizabeth - Team Sleep
M'aidez - Sneaker Pimps
Marble House - The Knife
Cascade - Tycho
Eurydice - Sleepthief
Skin of the Night - M83
What Else is There? - Royksopp
Comeback Kid - The Silversun Pickups
Quiet as a Mouse - Margot & the Nuclear So and So's
None Shall Pass - Aesop Rock
I Still Remember - Bloc Party

We need to go hiking this weekend. It will be nice and I'm pretty much free everyday as of now.

Or we should go on an epic bike adventure.

Word Cloud
This is a word cloud of the first page of my livejournal. Its pretty awesome.

My personality type: the groundbreaking thinker. Take the free iPersonic personality test!

I'm cleaning my room right now, purging stuff and trying to get stuff organized. I was thinking that I'd really like some artwork from all of you guys to hang up in my dorm room next year. You all are so amazingly talented and while pictures are fun to put up in a dorm room, they're cliche. I'd rather be reminded of you guys by your artwork. I'd trade for it. I make awesome collages and lamps!

I cannot recommend this more. Download it. It's free and legal! (and at high speeds too!)

Its a collaboration album between Adult Swim and the label Ghostly International. The album is kinda trancey, kinda alternative, and kinda electronic. Its absolutely amazing though!

Someone please recommend me an off the wall, obscure, possibly nerdy, interesting film that makes great use of color, lighting and/or story. I need to watch a film for a communications paper and I want to make this paper and my experience writing it interesting.

Bonus points if it wasn't released here in theaters. More bonus points if everyone is my class will think I'm totally batshit for writing about it.

I have faith that you guys will not let me down!

For the past year and a half I have been desperately wanting to meet someone who has gone through the same sort of deal I have. After all this time though, I have only found one other person around my age who has lost their mom. I feel like I can't speak to my sister about this sort of thing, we just don't have that deep relationship yet.

I've been searching google and sites for a teenager/young adult support group for people who have lost either their mom, dad or both. I have yet to find one in the Northbend/Issaquah/Bellevue area or even the Seattle area. I haven't found any sort of support group for something like this.

Therefore my spring break/summer project is to start one up. I wish I had support from other people who actually know what it is like to deal with something on this scale. I want to help out people and share my advice and experience. I want to build a network of people who can rely on each other when things are tough and laugh together when things are up.

I'm thinking something something along the lines of once or twice a month meetings in Bellevue. Relaxed, low-key meetings where we eat, have coffee, get to know each other and tell stories. There will be laughs, tears and connection. It seems so twistedly beautiful in my head, I don't even know if anyone would be interested in this type of thing.

Its times like these I wish I knew someone to help me start this up. Unfortunately I think my sister would think this is the stupidest idea ever.
